Today we were welcomed at the Southwire Spark Lab and had the opportunity to meet everyone in person for the first time. After having an introduction we started working on the Case provided by Southwire. Our group decided to focus on the Procure to Pay processes. For our first day we planned to do in depth data analysis. With the help of the experts from Southwire and Celonis we managed to better understand the processes going on at Southwire. We found different shortcomings within the data and tried to understand the causes of these shortcomings.
Afterwards we prepared different questions for the Q&A session on Tuesday. After a very productive first day we had a tour at the Southwire offices in Atlanta and went to watch baseball. A great start to our project!
